Plant '21 Wyatt Knust commits to Cornell

Nothing is more exciting than having the grades and the ability to play D1 lacrosse in the Ivy League and we got news this week that H.B. Plant High School goalie Wyatt Knust has committed to play lacrosse at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Knust has been the starter at Plant since his sophomore season, earning All-American honors in 2019, then he led Plant to a 9-1 record (6-0 in 2A District 10) in 2020 before COVID19 forced an early close to everyone's season. As a student he carries a 3.97 unweighted/6+ weighted GPA, while in net he has phenomenal hand speed and an uncanny ability to read a shooter with great reaction. He is also strong on the clear with crisp outlet passes often right on the money. We look for a big senior season out of Wyatt in 2021 before he takes his studies and lacrosse ability to Cornell.
