Stealth Lacrosse reported last week that 2025 Jaik Mainquist endured successful reconstructive back surgery and is already out of the hospital and has started his physical therapy process. Jaik is the type of kid who eats, sleeps and breaths lacrosse, always has his stick in his hands and spends a lot of his time around the game. He played junior varsity with Calvary Christian Academy (Ft. Lauderdale) last season, and is a product of Stealth Lacrosse out of Parkland, FL, where he is also remembered for being a ballboy with the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas varsity team that endured more grief than anyone could ever imagine. Those 2018 Eagles went on to win the District 27 Championship in a very emotional season. The time Jaik spends around the game has given him a strong lacrosse IQ, and an understanding of what it takes to compete at the highest level. It is believed that his road to recovery is in his control, which is a blessing since we know he is going to put in the hard work in physical therapy, as his drive and perseverance won't allow anything less.
