We are pleased to report that in the month of December a total of 48 high school boys from the Deep South verbally committed to play NCAA lacrosse, with 3 of them planning to join D1 programs. Please note, our area of coverage in the Deep South consists of the 9 states east/northeast of Texas (AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, and TN).
North Carolina led all states with 18 commitments, followed by Georgia with 11, Florida with 9, then South Carolina with 4, Tennessee with 3, Alabama with 2 and Louisiana with 1. Georgia placed 2 of the D1 commitments last month, while the 3rd came from Alabama.
